I am currently NOT working on this story and don't know when I will be again. Writing this takes a toll on me and I have kinda been posting other things here. Give them a looksie. :]

Title: Chapter 7: Chapter 7

I had stopped reading this for a minute because it was a little too real. Her nasty stepfather beating her and trying to force her into a sexual situation turned my stomach. Some dude at school beating the sh*t out of a girl and somehow people are just allowing that to happen, not saying a thing, added to that foulness. I've wanted to hurt both of these people. But I'm back in now because there just has to be some justice for Kenzi somehow here. I am so here for that!

Yes. It is a bit emotional, isn't it?

Which is why I put that warning in the descriptor. When I sat down to write, that's simply what came to me and so I wrote it down. To be honest, I get a bit shy and self-concious about people who know me reading it because they seem to think that perhaps I must have went through these sort of ordeals in order to write about them. Although, it is nice to have experince about the things that I write about, this is not one of those instances. All I am capable of doing is attempt to put my head into that sort of mindset and use my imagination to conjure the scence. 

 

So with that shpeel done, I am so happy and thrilled that you find my writing of Kensington's life and experinces to be "real". That truly means a lot to me as a writer. 

 

I'm hapy that you're back in and reading the story and I am sorry that darkness is needed to truly appreciate the light. Bear with me though, we still are in the dark ages of Kenzie's life.

Now, if she returns to that house.....

The important thing for me was that he verbalized his intent and plan he;s had for her all along. I don't think he's ever going to break her, but at least she heard what's been on his mind since she was little. To me, that helps her mentality in this battle of wills. She has to stay strong there because he even said that's where he's been fighting her. Make her believe she's garbage to justify his disgusting behavior. Good for Kenzi! Keep fighting and NOT believing his lies!

Summer really surprised me with her attitude. She basically blew Mindy off about her warnings. Saying that the aliens reminded her of harmless puppies given all the security measure and warnings was completely ridiculous of her! Why the hell would they go to all that trouble otherwise! Now what is happening to her Mindy said her entire team was capable of. Mindy's experience was scary with her teammates. I just think between the two, Mindy was the one taking it seriously. And then Summer suggested no security! Is she for real?

Now my concern is what happened to Mindy because I know she put up a fight!

And what is the deal with Omid? And what's going to happen next...lol!

I'm now invested in this story.

I love Brody, but he's doing a lot of projecting on to his family what he's feeling about himself. Of course they'd be worried, they love him and his condition is serious, but they would also eventually cope and help him do what he needed to do for his life. Its not fair to them for him to take that choice away from them and assume what they'd do, say and feel.

Also, Brody's young, he can go to school or try to take what he is good at and expand it and make it work. He's having a pity party for one right now and that is so not what his family is all about. And he knows it.

I can see why Alexa didn't say anything about that nasty heifer, Chloe. Clearly Brody doesn't know her that well, but knows Alexa even less well. And between the two, she probably figured he'd believe Chloe over someone he literally just met. Its a reasonable assumption. Plus, she didn't know if he'd just dump her right there. Now she has no money and can't afford to rock the boat. However much further he can get her the better. The whole thing was bad. And god knows what she has to do now.
