I can't believe they guilt tripped her into thinking that she's in the wrong. Pfffh. Duck jayden's mom, she doesn't deserve to be around the children



Author's Response:

There is a way to handle everything.  Tam should not have said what she said in front of the children.  That was Jayden's point.  While it may be easy to "say" keep the children away and just "cut them off", that is easy for the person not emotionally invested.  

REgardless, Jayden still loves his parents and wants to work it out. I'm sure that Tam doesn't want to paint him in a corner where he'll come to resent her. This is what her mother was trying to convey.  They have to talk about it and come to some sort of agreement. Tam doesn't have to like his Mom or even allow them time alone with her children, but she may have to deal with supervised visitation of some sort.

Nancy has got to show some effort on her part for reconcilliation, which is what Jayden wants from her.  We'll have to see how this goes down.

Title: Regret

Still don't like nancy. And it's a bit exaggerated about her daughter not liking tam in the future. And that she will leave tam for her grandma.  There are single parent families in the world and the children don't usually turn on their parents.

Nancy wasn't talking about Dana turning on her mother.  What she meant was that Tam can keep Dana away but the day may come when Dana will want to see her and talk to her and Tam won't be able to do anything about it. 

Nancy is thinking about Jayden and how he's going to live his own life regardless what what she thinks.  There has been a connection between Dana and Nancy, which is why Tam was so upset and Nancy knows this.
