Title: Crossing the Finish Line

I appreciate this chapter, usually a character like Charlie would have gone with the drama route and then have to jump through hoops to get him back. Which is actually pretty common in stories if you think about it. Plus, we're this far into this story, it's about time she's started realizing that two of them exist in this relationship and not one or the other.

I hope Ryan's mom finds out about her husbands other family. 

And when do you plan on doing the back story of mark, and Charlie's parents?

please keep Charlie and Ryan together too! I can't handle anymore back and forth, that's actually what makes a story get old, kind of like scandal, that crap is getting old now.

This might sound horrible, but I think it actually is best that they break up. In reality people are better off a part and meet someone ten times better then the previous partner. 

Sometimes too much baggage on both ends leads to a not so happily ever after for the couple, doesn't mean they won't get one, it just won't be together.

I can't stand it when people say "I'm not racist or anything" when they start freaking out. That crap gets old rather quickly, such a shame he's having such a rough time accepting he's half black. Heck, I'm half black and I'm not tripping, granted I'm not adopted of course and I know my real parents. I think his reaction was over the top about her being part black...

I am sure once he settles down, he'll be better able to process all the information.  Bennie didn't think that he was prejudiced, he just never even considered being anything other than what he was raised to be.  Now he feels that he really doesn't know now who he is and he's still processing the fact that he's the product of rape.  He's going to be doing more pondering so don't write him off just yet.  LOL
