My hope is after the storms stop Hunter take it upon himself to find Anika's journal and presented to her in good faith. That is 10 years of her inner thoughts and feelings, that the last physical gift from her parents and that the only piece of normalcy from home. Anika needs to know that the fire was not her fault, and she was only thirteen years old what could she have done. Thanks for the update.

Corrine is so selfish, she didn't want more kids because of what it will do to her body. I had triplets at 29 years old my body was out there I gained 60lbs, they were born at 32 weeks they spent time in the NICU, when I was healthy enough my husband who's in the military is into fitness so he trained me and I got my body back in shaped. When our triplets turn 16 this year they wanted jobs, our daughter at forever21 and our sons at their uncles body shop, they received their drivers license very quickly. The goal was to get them 1 car to share, they didn't want that so my husband made them put aside 100.00 dollars out of each paycheck, when the amount total 600.00 dollars for each of them my husband and his brothers took them to a Auto Auction so they could bid on a car, Their uncle is a mechanic so he check the cars out and that is how 3 teenagers got their own car. They still work part time on the weekend only, no working on school days. Hunter was to young to see that little hussy for what she were a golddigger in the making. Popa Sterling is so right, no 16 year old should be driving a better car then his parents and he needs to work for it. Hunter not wearing a condom is just plain stupid he's 16 not 6 he knows the consequences of having unprotected sex, like my grandmother always say " A hard head, makes a soft behind" things can happen Hunter. I'm happy that Anika's grandmother and her brother's are standing on faith. I'm having a little empathy and sympathy for Mr. Sterling but not his wife. How Is she going to put a dollar amount on human life. So If the search party happens to find Anika when they  find Hunter, because her family hasn't contributed substantially, she should be lefted behind. That women is heartless.

This man makes my butt itch!!! I'm not liking Hunter at all. He would have to do something human and spectacular for me to like him just a little bit. She's doing all the work while this fool is acting like he on vacation. Maybe he needs someone In his life to tell him no, because he don't have a clue. Let him keep on he's going to eat something that going to make him sick and the only person to help him will be that"Bitter black bitch" that's stuck on the Island with him. This woman has been working In hostile territory, no wonder she didn't have any empathy for her dead co-worker. I can just imagine have more people survived what her life would have been like. She would have been the only one with shelter, food and clean water because those fool's would be waiting for the imaginary maid and butler to appear. Thanks for the update.

Mr. Sterling and Mrs. Sterling are like night and day unevenly yoked, he's a believer and I'm guessing she's not. In her mind money Is the answer to everything accept when It comes from someone she thinks Is beneath her. My suggestions for the cast is Jake Gyllenhal as Hunter, Anika Noni Rose as Anika, Ruby Dee as Ernestine Wallace, The Les twins(French twin dancers) as Isaiah and Isaac, Sean Connery as Mr. Sterling and Meryl Streep as Mrs. Sterling. Wow! when it rains it pours. I understand how she feels about her journal the only connection she feels to her mother, but her life is much more important. Wow! the human side of Hunter has finally come out. I see their situation evolving more now, Anika is emontionally and mentally traumatize right now and Hunter is the stable one now. I think they should find a new shelter, they need to discover the island. thanks for the update MP

What a wonderful surprise Anika and Hunter are working together, I like that. They are opening up a little about their lives back home. I bet Hunter never thought that helping his father build a tree house when he was little would give him tools to survive on a deserted island. I do think Hunter will be a changed man when he goes back home. I'm wondering what kind of upbringing was Corrine sudjected to, how she's acting I don't think it was a happy one. When I first meet my husband in high school I couldn't stand him at all, I thought he was a jack-ass play boy who thought the sun rised and set with his ass, boy was I wrong. You should never judge a person without getting to know them first. I think Anika and Hunter will have a everlasting friendship and romantic relationship well pass their time on the island. I think Corrine will have a heart attack, pops will be very happy that his son chose his on mate in life. I think being stranded on that island is the best thing that could have happen to Hunter and Anika. Thanks for the update MP
