I read all of this story last night and this morning. 

I like Adam. I'm not so sure about Shaun. Listening to her so called friend Celia is the worst thing she could do. Adam is a jerk for saying what he did in the article but he doesn't deserve this. Adam is a lot of things but he has not purposefully misrepresented himself as Shaun has. No, she's outright lying. 

Celia is not her friend. Shaun never seems to feel good after a conversation with her. She's toxic. She and Celia are two different people so why is she listening to her? Well, some of the advice was okay (I.e. the bit about saying no). Celia isn't even married or in a serious relationship. Celia proved she wasn't a friend when she sent that email. She may have even rewrote the article.

Adam may have been okay with her writing the article if she'd told him at the beginning of their "relationship." It was exactly what he needed -- positive press from a black woman.

Adam is a jerk! He suddenly has a conscious after deflowering her?! Oh whatever dude. 

She should take the job. She should at least try to get a fresh start. Adam is rich; he can afford to fly to NY. 

Another update! I love it. 

I enjoyed this chapter. Frederick, Monica, and their mother are all out in lala land. They are all quite frightening.

Looking forward to the next chapter.

Sasha did have a set down coming from Dmitri but she did not deserve the nastiness he spewed on her. I'm glad she gave herself some closure with this confrontation. She tried to help him; he acted as if she slipped arsenic in the girl's ex-lax. If he really loved her, he would never have spoken to her in such a manner. Yes, he has a right to be upset but he tripped out on her like she was some trashy woman on the street. He showed his true colors. 

I hope Sasha finds someone that really loves her.

Well, the food issue is fairly easy to solve. Plenty of churches and food banks could resolve that. 

I'm not sure why she hasn't tried to emancipate herself or call cps. She must be receiving social security from her mother.

Michael wasn't invited to the cove? 

Tess absolutely deserved the cold shoulder from Jay but love gives you more than what you deserve. Love allows for forgiveness. ;) 

Jay isn't good for Tess. Yes, she acted like an 8th grader in a love triangle. Jay's reaction was completely justified but it could've been different. He was very focus on his feelings if betrayal. He could've forgiven Tess and helped her forgive herself for backsliding. He could've asked her to seek counseling. He could've helped her. Tess didn't deserve any consideration from Jay but if he loved her like he said then he would not have let her go. 

Alright, I'm ready to wash my hands of Jay. He can't seem to think beyond his needs. He's a hypocrite too. He told Toni all his business. He basically complained about his wife -- talked smack about her. Some women would think that was an invitation. He's playing both sides of the fence. He told Toni to be professional when he was anything but professional during that conversation. 

Honestly, Tess and Jay should probably go to a marriage counselor because they have poor conflict resolution. 

Jay knows that Toni bothers Tess. Why hasn't he dismissed her? He's foul. Between the two of them they could've had her hooked up with another position at a different accounting firm. He can get a temp from Robert Half or wherever to replace her. Seriously. The writing is on the wall; Toni wants him.

What is Anthony telling Rita??

Anthony did not lose his way. Could Natalia have given him time to rectify the situation and come right to her? Maybe. 

She should go to the party.

Oh. My. Gosh.

Thank goodness. I'm glad Anthony told her about herself. Although he could've been a bit kinder. All her what will people think thoughts were working my nerves too. 

Natalia is a cool cucumber. I probably would not have been so cool or nice about everything. I like her. 

I enjoyed this chapter. Natalia has finally started to wake up. Anthony is young but it is Natalia that needs to grow up. She needs to learn to communicate like an adult. She's a basket case letting everyone run roughshod over her.

I like her and Anthony together but she did the right thing. She did not like the way he was operating in the relationship so she told him to leave. That's fine. His excuses for lying to his family were weak. Perhaps it was not the right time to announce his relationship but it was shameful that he out right lied. Natalia does not have time for that.
