Summary:

 Camille Jackson was rejected since birth over her dark skin complexion. She has grown a tough skin and doesn’t get attached to anyone because of how some people have viewed her without even getting to know her. However Camille opens her heart to a baby in need and for the first six months Camille has grown to love the baby as if she were her own. That is until the baby's biological father comes into the picture.

Hiram Whitfield Jr was brought up in one of the most well known Ku Klux Klan families in the south and as the only son he feels the pressure to carry on his family's tradition. After finishing his prison sentence all Hiram wants to do is change his life for the better and be a good father to his child. If that means being disowned by his bigoted family then so be it. Ironically enough Hiram would have never thought that Camille would be the one to be his rock and strength to do so.

Both situations are sad to me. Living during times like this took a lot of strength. You're going to kill that man because he called you out on cheating him out of his money. What's fair is fair and he should have paid him. He has a family just like they do and color doesn't make him any less of a man. I can't believe that parents wouldn't want a child because of her color. Y'all are all black. The Klan could care less if you were dark or light skinned. To them, black was black end of story. Every child deserves love. She seemed like an exceptional young woman and for those mothers to not want her because she was 'too dark' is simply unacceptable.

Yay!!!! I'm glad that it's over. Finally!!! I thought Camille was going to die for a second there. I was getting upset. It can't end like this!!! LOl. Glad Hiram was there to save her. I can't wait to see how these investigations turn out. I hope Hiram tells his family what he found out about his father and his true bloodline. Put all they asses on blast.

HE asked her! And she said yes!!! I'm happy for them. I'm glad that they are going to adopt Stevie, he fits perfectly. And he wants to change his middle and last name, that's great. Title: Chapter 10: 7 - 'Looking at all or nothing, babe, it's you & I. . .'

Oh sugar!!!! That was amazing. I'm glad that his pack accepted Ava-Rain. I'm sure they would have regardless but it's good that they openly accepted her. I wondered if Caleb had parents or if they were dead. I wonder how his parents are? Will they accept her. So the Council doesn't know that he is the heir of all the elements. Why would that be a bad thing? Maybe I need to go back and read that part about his history again. But I can't believe that they allow the Yellow or pure bloods to do that. I understand that some form of order needs to be maintained but to give them that power solely and without constrains or a watchful eye is a bit much. To exterminate an entire pack is crazy. He was pissed that she left the apartment? She isn't in a prison Caleb. LOl. But I guess with everything going on around her that she doesn't know about I guess I can understand. Now onto this conversation she had with her grandmother. I'm surprised that she even spoke to her again. I didn't think they would ever speak again. Honestly. And I just know that her friend being there was not a coincidence. Something is not right about that. Is a wolf? Working with the Yellow? Cheating on Rickon? Something isn't right but I hope she isn't trying to hurt Ava-Rain or Caleb and his pack.

So glad you enjoyed this chapter! Caleb didn't think his pack would object, but he needed that confirmation anyway, mainly for reasons that have to do with what happened in the past. The Council is not aware of Caleb's existence & we'll eventually learn why him being an 'heir of the four' is a REALLY big deal in his world because up until this point, Caleb has yet to explain why that is. As for Caleb freaking out over Ava-Rain leaving, he was totally about to have a heart attack, wasn't he? Lol, but like you said, there's so much going on—unbeknownst to her—that he doesn't want to take any chances. The last time he left her, she got attacked by a wolf, so you can imagine why he wants to keep her locked up.

I think Ava-Rain's conversation with her Gladys was probably just her naive attempt to keep the lines of communication open, to let her know that she's okay, to make sure that she's okay. As for Jennifer, there is definitely something fishy about her sudden and unexpected appearance & you're definitely asking the right questions!

She decided to accept him!!! I'm excited to find out what happens next. I was just as intrigued as Ava-Rain learning about his history. I hope he tells her more. I want to know more that's for sure. So when he claims her will she be a warewolf too? Will she have all the elements like him?

There are still so many things that Caleb hasn't told Ava-Rain & that may end up hurting their relationship when those things come to light. Caleb definitely did not want Ava-Rain to find out in that way, but she did. And now we'll FINALLY get to learn about Caleb, his pack & their werewolf history, which I'm super excited about! As for Rickon, we'll find out why he went after Ava-Rain in a couple of chapters. And you already know Caleb doesn't joke when it comes to Ava-Rain, so Rickon will definitely be reprimanded.
