And it serves her right to be scared. Adam may have made a very despicable statement but what Shaun is doing is unethical. She should really examine her friendship with Celia as well. Now emotions are involved, both hers and Adam, I wonder what Shaun will do next even if the press does not expose her background. She seems to be sinking deeper and deeper into the madness. How is she going to justify her actions because what she did is set up herself up to be the "jury and executioner at his trial." And this makes for a very interesting read. Thanks Voices for making this story one of my favourites. I love it when you take me out of my misery and update quickly.

Shout up Celia! So sorry Shaun. Celia is so not the voice of reason.  Shaun should write the article but she should also include herself in the process and express her changing emotions/feelings for Adam. Would make for marvelous reading.

Any misgivings I had about Adam's character has been put to rest. I think he has proven that he is no racist, just a fool with a big mouth and his upcoming public humiliation from Shaun's story should surely put a stop to any future blunders.

Thanks for the great update! Thanks for brillantly turning Adam into someone worthy of Shaun, for giving him the depth of character that makes him a very likeable character. I find it interesting how Shaun started out likeable, smart even with her plan to write that article. Now she is making so many of us frustrated and annoyed. I for one have been shouting at her and am frustrated by her continued need to seek out and follow her friend's bad advice. Thank you for finally (if not slowly) opening her eyes to the fact that their manipulations are turning her into a 'brillant monster.' Now her almost midnight act as a cyber thief! Wow! This whole thing surely is going to blow up in her face. But then again Voice you have written quite a tale so far and it would be a pleasure to see how our girl gets herself out this mess, saves the day and gets her man.

Thanks for writing this story. When there is a drug addict in your family it is like the whole family is into this crazed situation; none remains unscathed. As much you want to help, to take the pain away, the journey is for the addict. That is not to say family and friends shouldnt examine themselves and see if and how they are contributing to the situation perhaps as an enabler or something else all together. I believe your story reflects the reality of an addict and th closest to them. At some point Sierra has to realise. It's not about Jake. Sierra must do seek her own redemption to get herself out of the destructive situation in which she now finds herself. Well done!

Monica is so insecure. Why get in Sierra's face about Jake if things are going so well for her and Jake. I am rooting for Sierra and hoping she stays the course on the road to her recovery. Monica does know that Sierra is an addict right and a lot of things addicts do is part of their sickness. She needs to keep away from Sierra and work on her own insecurities. Maybe she needs to ask herself why is she with Jake when it is obvious that he still has deep feelings for a woman who she accused of abusing him. A blow job wouldnt solve their problems. Jake is still fixated on Sierra. Poor Monica she should have known better. As for Jake he needs to get his act together.

Well Gage is hooked. After all that growling I am surprised he allowed her to go off with another man... LOL... I love that is your story funny in parts. Shanna is a funny character while Gage is so serious. This makes for great chemistry. I guess things will soon get serious when she has to deal with Gage and her parents. Great chapter!

JJax, my hectic life caught up with me during your telling of this story and so I was not able to participate in the dialogue between yourself and us, your avid followers/reviewers. However, I want to thank you for restoring my faith that one can read a powerful story, one without the usual sexual exploits. Don't get me wrong I love stories laced with the lustful attraction between a woman and a man filled with pages of excitable descriptions of them getting it on.

But this time, your story had so much depth about a love that is grounded in something that is spiritual and lasting, and so it went beyond the normal boundaries that we have become accustom to these days. And your characters came off the pages and entered a realm where they could be easily identified as everyday people. My favorite was Pearl of course. A wise woman indeed. I love that the story was told through the perspective of Joss. 

The happy ending was welcomed. However I live in a multi-ethnic country and I have seen so many similar real life stories and they dont always have happy endings.

I believe you outdid your previous work with this one. This is a keeper and I hope you publish it soon.

Well I have come to the end of my JJax day with my reading of this story thus far. Well done once again. I like so many of your readers would love to take out Barbara and I am hoping that there is more to her bad behaviour than just her being a frustrated and manipulative woman. She is not proving to be the good sister and human at all. I for one would be tempted to go beyond the stage of insults and use my changing pregnancy hormonal levels as an excuse to do something extreme. What an absolutely maddening woman!

Anthony may be 25 but he is proving to be a responsible man and this is good to see. But I keep wishing that the Natalia who blew my mind at the start of this story returns to take full control of messy situation. And I know this is not the Chamber's choice but that Natalia, though vengeful, had spunk and obviously knew what she wanted and that was to seduce Anthony and get her own back. I guess the 'mistake of her pending motherhood is making her hesitate and she seems to be waiting for the hammer to drop. And while I am not sure about Anthony's 'fuck them' attitude for those closest to them who don't support them (with the exception of his father and Barbs of course) I would love to see the original Natalia reemerge and take back her life, warts and all. As Anthony said, they are involved and it's time she give their situation a chance to evolve.

Btw I loved that last scene between Anthony and Natalia and between now and the next posting I will be praying that she does say an explicit yes, so that at my next reading I can do a happy dance.

I cant wait to read about the reaction of Anthony's family when the baby news drops. But then again what Richard say when she was his secret wife... LOL.

What a pleasant surprise awaited me when I visited the Chamber tonight. Thank you! But JJax you should really stop trying to kill a woman okay… LOL… I must admit I held my breath while reading this chapter and finally I couldn’t take it anymore when I read Anthony may have messed up big time and so I quickly went to the end of the chapter. I was RELIEVED to discover that Ant didn’t mess up. I am hoping Natalia will have a similar epiphany. I am hoping against hope  that Natalia didn’t allow Richard, the massive liar, to mess up her head. Just dealing with her pending infertility is enough drama without having to deal with Richard and his crap. I hope she hears Anthony out before she makes any harsh decisions. Gees Anthony and Natalia!

I lol when when Anthony agreed to hook up his brother with Barbara.

I thought I would have me a JJax day and catch up on all your offerings. And what a good day I have had so far. Thank you for this sequel and as usual you never fail.

The warmth of Eshan and Joselyn's romance, which started in their first story, continued and spilled over in this their second tale. The character that is her mom and the addition of other members of her family were so life like and very entertaining. You took me from laughter with the antics of Jos' family and Eshan's father to vexation and frustration at the behaviour of Eshan's mother and brother. As I cast my imagination into their future, I doubt there will be any love lost between Jos and her mother-in-law. Jos indecision countered by Eshan's unwaving commitment to their relationship made him even more enduring. If only he could jump off your pages and into real life.

Let me say, I totally enjoyed this story, to the last word. Thanks much JJax...
