Summary:

In the wake of an ugly divorce, Natalia executes a scheme meant to move her beyond the hurt inflicted by her ex-husband, Richard.  The plan is to ease her suffering by increasing his, and her weapon, a younger man unwittingly drawn into the illicit plot.

Title: Chapter 18: Chapter 18 - Victim of Deja Vu

This was one very intense chapter, but i think both Anthony and Natalia need to face that they have both been hurt in the past and instead of being honest with themselves and each other they held it in because they didn't want to hurt each other.  But in the end they not only hurt each other but themselves. Natalia needs to understand that Anthony is not his father, he is not his father's mistakes, nor is he the secret and lies his father and family have told. She needs to understand that he is a man trying to find his way and he might have to struggle to get there but he got there before she let her fears, hurt, and need to do the right thing push him away. Anthony needs to understand that Natalia is a grown ass woman not some dirty little secret that he needs to protect from his family. He needed to be open an honest with himself and her. And I hope they will find that what they want is what they so badly want to push away. Looking forward to the next chapter.

I have to agree.  Both are so caught up in their insecurities and hurt, seeing the other side is nearly impossible.  Hopefully time apart with provide healing and clarity.  Hopefully...

Title: Chapter 19: Chapter 19 - The Parent Trap

So after this chapter I realize that Natalia is a work in progress. This chapter pointed out her love for her family but also her need not to disappoint. I have to ask what does Natalia really want? What does Natalia really need? Because it's not her best friend or her a BF's uncle pushing her into living a life that she doesn't seem ready for. It's not her sister who can straight up lie to her. Or a man that she has been dating for what 3 months that pops the questioning knowing she isnt really emotionally ready for something more serious. And it's not Natalia agreeing to a marriage because she feels like it's either the right thing or due to pressure. Maybe it's me but if a many is going to surprise me with a family gathering and proposal he better not be surprised by the Hell Naw that comes out of my mouth.

The one thing I hope for Natalia is she finds that happiness she so deserves because she has been beat down in one marriage where she was a dirty little secret. She has let guilt of her actions and those that claim to love her drain her emotionally where she would rather push away someone that truly wanted to be with her. Only due to his own insecurities kept their relationship about them and no one else. And now she has this man that would rather talk to everyone else about their "relationship" then her. So let's see by the age of what 38 will Natalia have found what she has wanted or will she be in another marriage where instead of being a secret, their families will always be all up in their business. 

Joelle, this is why I love your work because you have my anxiety in a tizzy because of a character that is so flawed that I just want the best for her. (Even if I think in order for her to find that she needs to get away from all those people in her life thinking they are "helping" her and discover who she is and who she truly wants.) Looking forward to the next chapter even if I might have take an anxiety pill to read it. As for your writers comment, " Do you and once those readers see how the story plays out they will see the method to your madness even if the ride there is one helluva bumpy one. Lol"

Title: Chapter 21: Chapter 21 - Mirror, Mirror

I just realized after reading some of the reviews but I find it interesting that Rita knows a lot about Anthony's love life with Natalia. Let's take a moment to think about this for a moment, maybe Anthony only told the people he felt needed to know about Natalia. I mean Anthony doesn't really seem as connected to his family, unless I missed the part where he's called them about all that is been going on in his life. His father thinks he's a screw up, his brother thinks he should just get laid, his mother thinks...not really sure what his mother thinks. But it seems Natalia was the only one to take the time to pay attention to who he was. Rita seems like She has conversations with Anthony to know so much about Natalia. Not sure if that means much but it's a start for me.

Good point, JovanBleu.  Anthony has discussed Nat with Rita, and quite a bit apparently.  He is sort of the black sheep, or was (more on that later), but is still pretty close with his family--especially his brothers and his Nanna and Pop-Pop.  Telling Rita about Nat is a step in the right direction, but the question is would he take the next step and tell his family about her?

Title: Chapter 22: Chapter 22 - Lamb of Sacrifice

Yep Rita is still my favorite person, she thinks she is helping Anthony move in and in away she helped Natalia finally be able to see and deal with the truth. The truth is not Jamison nor Richard made her feel what Anthony did and maybe if she would look passed her guilt she would see that she didn't make Anthony do anything he didn't want to do.

I have no words for Jamison...I mean it's one thing to not want to be hurt again but it's another thing to put yourself in a situation where you want to be "Hear no, Speak no, and See no Evil" that you close yourself off from the truth just to live in a reality that was painted for you by a sister who has no clue as to who her sister is and what her sister needs. I mean really him not giving two shits about her taking off the ring that he so wanted her to wear to play into his fantasy is a little much. Jamison needs to move back in with his mother and latch back on to her boob, because there is no way a grown as man is it that much of a denial.

Rich what can I saw about him other than the fact that he might look like his father, might be a dog like his father, but there is something about him that I like. Maybe it's his own brand of honesty. Maybe it's the fact that he shows me that him nothing wanting to be near his family speaks volumes and confirms that only those truly important to Anthony knew about Natalia and him not telling the rest was for a good reason. 

Last but not least, Anthony...lives but a hop, skip, and jump away from Natalia. Because he though he was giving her space he still wanted to be close to her. The reaction he had over her "engagement" leaves me wondering if he ain't going to show up at her house...hmm.

I'm glad the therapist told Natalia she did the right thing by being honesty, it was her need to protect that kept her being truthful and apparently Jamison's 2 year old personality that kept her from realizing sooner that he doesn't know, care to know, or want to know Natalia he wants Barbara's Natalia. How is a grown ass man going to walk out of a therapy session her manipulated Natalia into when she is finally honest. Good riddens Jamison Natalia didn't have diapers big enough to fit your man baby ass. See Joelle you got me feel all types of giddy because I was right about Jamison and he cry me a river ass. (I have so many walking punch lines for that dude.) see you got me rambling again.

Rita's plan may have been to help Anthony, but you're right--she did make Nat face the embodiment of what she was missing in her relationship with Jamison and gave her an opportunity to say goodbye to Ant.  As for moving beyond her guilt, that's going to take some time.

Lol.  I see there is still no love lost with dear Jamison.  Poor thing.  If he was a real person, I'm sure his feelings would be super hurt.  And you wouldn't even care.  *SMH and shamefully laughing on the inside--especially at the man diapers*

I like Rich too, but that doesn't mean he's not capable of some scandalous f*ckery.  He already flirted with Nat only to take jabs at her a few minutes later.  And he is his father's son; if for no other reason than that, he bears watching.

Title: Chapter 23: Chapter 23 - In His Shoes

Joelle, My shoulder is willing, waiting, and available for Anthony any time of the day he needs it. He can even lay his head on my boob.

Now about this chapter Rich just went on my shit list. He knows his brother but he seems to like to push until he gets a reaction. I still like him and the way he treats Sabrina, but he went too far with Anthony. So hopefully he is in the guestroom licking his wounds and learning when to open his mouth and when not too.

Anthony I am here for you baby, let me do some house cleaning and get your brother and that chick you F*** out of the house first and then I will have that shoulder you so obviously need. I know you might not want to hear this but maybe you need to take a trip to that beach house that you are avoiding and you and Natalia need to properly say good bye to the child that you loss.

I feel so sad for Anthony because he is so closed off from life that he is just going through the motions. He too might want to talk to someone. I feel like he is doing what Natalie did with Jamison the only dfference is he isn't lying to himself about that relationship, he is more pretending that it helps.

I seriously doubt this incident is going to teach Rich the tact he lacks.  This can't be the first time his mouth got him choked.  But you never know.

Anthony is burying himself in work.  But like you said he doesn't lie to himself about how he feels about Sabrina or in general.  A trip to the beach house and a therapist might be just what he needs, but will he pursue either?  We'll see.

Title: Chapter 24: Chapter 24 - "No Thanks" Giving

Wow, Joelle, you have me feeling all types of things. And I am not sure what to think of this chapter because you have my anxiety ibn my throat.

Let me start with Anthony and his need to just avoid the truth of the matter and that is he doesn't want to be with Sabrina anymore than he wants to spend the holidays with his family. He needs to man up and staart talking and telling the treuth instead of hiding behind his heart and his head. The reason he is willing to put himself through this is because he is afraid of being open and honest. He needs to stop using Sabrina as a play thing because she wants more, she wants to be with him and be his wife and he knows it. But he needs to pick up his big boy underwear, stuff his balls in there and find his manhood and just be honest. (I still love him and he will have my shoulder and boobn. But I need him to man up.)

Sabrina either needs to get a clue or the hurt she is going to feel is well deserved since she thinks him screwing her, and letting her meet the family means a picket fence and babies. I hust don't understnad her.

Richard showing up and Natalia's was very much expected that man thinks he deserves a second chance and the fact that he thought he would show up, she would forgive his sins, because he is willing to givie her the moon right now was ballsy. I swear Richard needs to learn that his actions and his "understand" mean as much and are worth as much as the chicken shit that you walk in when on a farm. He needs to go somewhere with his self.

Anthony was honest but only in his head and I am glad that he was honest about why he didn't want Natalia to meet those people he calls a family because lets face it natalia would not have fit in, she would have felt guilty and why should she. Natalia is the only one I enjoyed in this chapter because at least she was very much honest with herself. She let Richard see her cry but isn't it funny the dam fool probably thought it was because of him. I loved how she was going to wait for him to land because she tells him no go dude.

Yes, your boy Anthony is in a bad way and needs a swift kick along with that shoulder.  But his is twenty-six and dealing with some heavy stuff, so he might deserve another minute to get it together, if he can. 

Natalia is making progress, but Richard won't make it easy for her to move on.  He really wants her back, and is willing to do whatever it takes to make it happen.  It's gonna take more than her refusals to put him off her, if anything will.  She did sleep with his son, after all, and he's still jockin'.

Title: Chapter 25: Chapter 25 - While the Cat's Away...

Well this was one very interesting chapter. Anthony faking an ear infection to make small talk with Natalia. I swear they need to have a real and open conversation because this somewhat awkward moment would not count as anything more than Anthony's need to see her. Natalia is correct Rich maybe everything understand sun but he is balantly honest to a fault. Looking forward to seeing Natalia getting Rich's drunk ass off her floor and if Anthiny is willing to be honest.

Title: Chapter 26: Chapter 26 - Impatience is a Virtue

Joelle, like always you amaze me. This chapter was just so perfect in so many ways. Where to begin Rich is one character that you need in your life because even though he is an ass hole he is a very honest ass hole and he made Natalia laugh even when she was trying not to. I knew I liked him for a reason.

The truth shall set you free and it truly need both Natalia and Anthony let insecurities and miscommunication lead them down a path of misunderstandings and regret. Both thought they were protecting each other from things that they wanted for each other and in the end it was that silence and protection that tore them apart. For the first time in a long time it must have been uplifting to finally speak a truth that their hearts were protecting them from. It's so funny that these two have so much in common especially when they assumed so much about the other that what was standing right in front of them was what was missing in their lives.

Natalia admitting to herself that she loved and still wanted Anthony was a big step especially because there was no guilt associated with it. Anthony admitting that he only wanted Natalia was a big step because he was punishing himself for not being honest. And in the end it to a ploy by good Ol' Rich to get Natalia and Anthony to open up and be honest with each other and themselves. (I guess Anthony doesn't need my shoulder and boob any more, huh? Lol) Hopefully these two take things slow and learn to just be open and honest with each other. They failed at communication the last time, hopefully they learned something.

Joelle, I have one request and it's only because I need to read it but can I have Anthony and Sabrina's break up please. PS since Richard thinks Sabrina is a great girl maybe those two can hook up. Lol

Richard does like his women younger, but Sabrina doesn't have a chance.  He's bound and determined to get Natalia back.  I'll see what I can do about giving you some Anthony/Sabrina interaction, if not a break up flashback.

Title: Chapter 38: Chapter 38 - The Bridges We Burn

What can one say about this amazing chapter. I mean I wish Anthony would let this that love him and understand that it wasn't his families fault I hat his mother and the man he thought was his father were and are F***in cowards. It's not Richs fault that Richard doesn't care who he hurts as long as he gets what he wants, it's not Natalia's fault that she stumbled upon the truth and had to keep it a secret. Hopefully soon Ant will be able to get out of his own head and just be. I understand the need for answers but maybe he is asking the wrong questions. Maybe he needs to start asking himself who he is outside of all those people and the answer he gets will bring him to the realization that those people don't define him. He is a man that left his family to take care of his responsibilities. He is a man that lost a grieved a child that didn't exist. He is a man that manned up and took a job that would support himself while trying to support his passion for writing. He is a man that loved a woman so much that he finally dealt with the truth of those feelings and stopped living by the rules of his family. And hopefully he soon will be a father. That is who he is and hopefully he understands that those qualities are what make him him. Not Richard, Mercedes, or the father he never knew. Now if only we could get Natalia over the hump of failing and not being pregnant to, enjoying her pregnancy without fear. But the time we sees her doctor she will be out of her first trimester and hopefully truly pregnant. Looking forward to the next chapter. 

PS. Joelle you had me think Rich was with Barbara and that we why Natalia was stunned. Lol

Title: Chapter 28: Chapter 28 - Four's a Tough Crowd

That was truly an intense chapter but I loved it from beginning to end. Anthony loves his brothers and wants to see the best in them but it's funny how the only one that was his back in anything and everything is Rich. Thomas thinks he knows and understands but he has no clue, their father has always been an ass to Anthony almost like he knew the kid wasn't his or something. Just because the douche didn't want anymore kids after Thomas doesn't mean that Anthony deserved to be dismissed just like Natalia never deserved to be dismissed. I would love to know what Rich told Thomas and I am glad that Natalia didn't let her fears push her away from a man that she truly loves.

 

Richard is never going to change that bastard doesn't understand nor does her care about Anthony, he just wanted Anthony away from Natalia and that's why Thomas thought they could make amends as father and son.

Anthony had more faith in Thomas than he deserved.  But I think he knows that now.  Rich is the only one he can truly count on.  What he told Thomas will be discussed in upcoming chapters.

You touched on a great point:  Richard isn't really softening toward Anthony for any reason other than to further his goal of earning Natalia's affections.  And to an extent, she realized that.  We'll see how that works out for him.

Title: Chapter 29: Chapter 29 - The One That Got Away

Well, Joelle, you had me going there for about all of the damn chapter I think I would have passed out if I held my breath any longer.

Natalia is one of those characters that wants to be strong and do everything on her own because she doesn't know how to handle the emotional fallout well, lets just say that her family isn't the most stable of people when it comes to emotions. She truly knows how to help others but not always helping herself. I loved the fact that she wants Anthony to have that bound with the only person in his family that has his back. Yeah, its Rich but we all have crosses to bare when it comes to our family and Rich is Anthony's lol. But lets be real Natalia and Anthony wouldn't know what to do with themselves without Rich, he is entertaining at best and douchey at worst but he loves Anthony and wants him to be happy.

Anthony having to deal with his mother and the she-devil would make any grown man want to slit his wrist or in his case (lay his head on my bosom and shoulder.) I find it interesting that the She-Devil thinks that she knows anything about Anthony and Natalia's relationship. I wish he would have said, " FYI Natalia has never tried to stand in the way of my relationship with anyone of my family members. it me and their selfish need to control my life that keeps me at a distance with them. And its you that makes me want to get even further away from them."

Natalia and Anthony having a baby...Aww I hope it truly is their miracle kid. because who knew a hand job could get one pregnant. (Ha just kidding.) I thinking they had a quickie in a shower trying to make sure Rich didn't interrupt them, that got her knocked up. (Thanks Rich. LOL) Natalia needs to learn to share her emotions with Anthony because he truly wants to be there for her in every way possible.  Her trying to deal with being pregnant on her own was a little selfish and understandable but she has to remember that Anthony loves her completely. He wants all of her the good, the bad, the ugly, and the Barbara. And he was worried about her which cause  him not to sleep or be able to focus. I love d this:

“Besides, Rich is bound to fuck-up sooner or later.  We’ll just take his kid.  He sure as hell won’t get it.  The courts would grant custody to a rabid one-armed monkey before they gave it to Rich.”

Poor Rich would never let a monkey raise his kid. I feel like Rich is trying to be free because for so long he was under that family of his that he did everything for them, for their approval and at the end of the day he doesn't know how to act on his own.

Great insight on Nat, JovanBleu.  And I agree that Rich is sometimes the disfunctional glue that holds it all together.  That's why I love him. 

Sabrina thinks she knows Anthony, but then again, so does his family.  It's part of the reason they get along so well.  You didn't get to see how that conversation between Ant and Sabrina ended, but your rendition was spot on.

Nat had every intention of telling Anthony about the pregnancy, but was waiting until she got herself together before doing so so she wouldn't worry him with her worry.  Unfortunately, she wound up causing him the stress she was trying to spare him.  Lesson learned.

And you just might be right about Poor Rich's behavior maybe being the result of having finally found freedom from his family's tyrranical influence.

Title: Chapter 30: Chapter 30 - The End of Ignorance and Bliss

Another amazing chapter. I swear Natalia cracks me up at times because she tends to forget that Anthony might not be the only one to come-a-knocking at her door.  Richard is lucky that wasnt me because he would have gotten a swift kick straight to the balls that when he opened his mouth to tell me he "loves me" the would have rolled on out. I am so glad that Natalia calmed Anthony down from doing something very stupid like fighting his father over her but made him focus on his no -existent relationship with Richard.

Richard has some F***in nerve to tell Anthony better men would have left him on the street. Funny how better men would have loved Anthony with their whole heart rather that food and a roof. Anthony walking away from that man showed he is a better man than Richard for not giving in and punch dude smack in the face.

I see Natalia pulled an Angela Bassett move from Waiting to Exhale by burning the clothes that Richard got her. But hot damn did she uncover a secret that the family has been keeping for 24 years. Anthony was adopted. Why wouldnt they tell him when he got older. Well I guess Richard has done one thing by not revealing that Anthony aint his but there is most likely a reason behind it. Looking forward to the next chapter.

Title: Chapter 31: Chapter 31 - Can You Keep a Secret?

This truly was another intense chapter. Natalia taking on the burden of Richards misdeeds about not being honest with Anthony. She finds out the truth wants to give Richard the chance to right his wrong for treating Anthony like a second rate citizen and yet again Richard shows that it's all about him. Maybe he doesn't want to loose Anthony even though he treated him like crap all his life, maybe he doesn't want Anthony to look at his mother any differently, maybe he doesn't want everyone to know that he made a big mistake but whatever the reason I feel like Richard doesn't know how to man up and be someone that can be honest and open about his misgivings. And he leaves Natalia holding this secret that she knows she can not, will not keep for Anthony and being the one to ruin his world. Or maybe Anthony knows the truth maybe he has realized that he doesn't look like anyone in the family and he knows something is off maybe that's why he hates Richard. But he deserves the truth.

Rich seems to know all that goes on in the family and I love that he has continued to see Anthony as his brother. But how can he ask Natalia to keep that secret? That stress alone isn't good for her. He better kick Richard ass and make him tell Anthony the truth because he not Natalia should have to be responsible for that bombshell of a secret.

So I was confused so is the meddling woman Mercedes' that likes Sabrina?

Yes, Mercede is Anthony's mother and Sabrina's number one fan.  She cheated and got pregnant, and Richard kept it a secret because he didn't want to look like the fool he was for leaving his first wife for her.  Anthony knows his father hates him, but has no idea why.  This will come as a shock to him, no matter who tells him.  Hope that cleared things up.  Thanks so much for reading and reviewing, JovanBleu!

Title: Chapter 35: Chapter 35 - If I Can't Have You...

I gpt no words for Richard. All I can say is I wish Natalia had taken her 4 inch heels and enbedded them so far into Richards balls that when he decided to think he was a man again he would feel nothing but patten leather and a twitch. I can't believe Rich or Anthony didn't hear that but if they did. I hope that Rich tells Richard about himself, and Anthony beats the shit out of a man that has no right to call him son since Pop Pop was more of a father, mentor, and friend to Anthony then Richard. And maybe just maybe Rich will tell Anthony the truth so he can wipe his hands of that man and that lying mother of his. Hopefully Natalia goes back to the hotel and waits for Anthony instead of her first instinct to run.

Title: Chapter 40: Epilogue

This last chapter was truly amazing on so many levels. The fact that Anthony and Natalia both got their dreams was so utterly amazing that I am at a loss for words. All I can say is I am glad that Anthony's father wasn't dead. And that he got to meet the man that has wanted him from the beginning. I am also glad that both he and Natalia got rid of the hate that was clogging up their lives. Barbara and Mercedes both deserved much worse than they got. How dare Barbara try to make herself part of a family that she only wants to be apart of because they won't allow her to be. And how dare Mercedes take Anthony away from David by claiming he was dead. I mean that only would have me putting Mercedes in the ground. But I am glad that Anthony stayed close to those that truly loved him no matter what. This truly was an amazing story, thanks for sharing it with us.

Title: Chapter 6: Chapter 5

Since Travis calls Hudson, Hudson, does he know that Hudson isn't his father. Because when the other little boy called Hudson dad he didn't say anything but then again a dad and a father are two totally different things and Hidson seems to have been there for Avery and Travis from the beginning. and of course I am getting that vibe that avery didn't tell Porter about her being pregnant because she wanted him to have a better life but does that mean she has told Travis about his father, if Porter is his father?

So maybe its me but Porter and Jess just don't fit and I say that because its almost like they have an arrangement rather than true and unconditional love. I know they have been together a while and Porter figured the next step was marriage but really does he not want love? Does he not want to have that emotional support that I just feel like Jess lacks because she is either all about that computer or herself? Like how much time did she really spend with Payton before getting on her computer?

So many questions still to be answered that I feel like all we get is questions rather than answers and maybe the answers are coming but for me the lack of feelings or emotions from Avery/Hudson and Porter/Jess makes it feel more like a convienence rather than something more. And maybe its just because we haven't gottten to see it but I would think we would at least feel it through the words and maybe its just me.

Title: Alexa and Brody

Another amazing chapter. This was a very intense chapter as well because you have Alex being fearful for not only her sister and nephew but Brody as well. And then you have Brody willing to do anything to protect Alex and her family. The fact that they have been so in sync in the short period of time that they have known each other is pretty amazing. And even though Brody had no clue what he would be walking into he was prepared for anything. I just can't believe Elena would put herself and her son in a position that if something serious happened to her he would have witnessed it. But then again what can one expect when Elena apparently doesn't think about anyone but herself. Sure when Nathan came around Alex was young and naive. But she is learning from her mistakes and she still cares about her sister even though her sister doesn't apparently care about her. I love the fact that Aiden has Alex and now Brody in his life to protect him from the monsters that apparently livew in his house.

Title: Alexa and Brody

This chapter kind of knocked the wind out of me so to speak. I mean Brody truly cares for and Loves Alexa and he wants to understand her but she makes it so hard. But I feel at the same time she wants to protect him from the dramas of her life. Why? Because I think all those that Alex has trusted have hurt her so deeply that even though she wants to trust Brody she can't right now. I think she wants to tell him her demons but she doesn't want to loose the way he looks at her because she truly does love him. I know that she lied but maybe getting her sister out of that environment was the only way she could think of to save both of them. And like Brody said Elena needs to make the choice, maybe she will choose her son and her life.

I wonder where Brody is thinking of taking them...Could it be the only safe place he knows...his granmother's farm? I hope Alexa will begin to open up to Brody because even though she might fear telling him about her past and loosing him, if she doesn't she could still loose him and that would be worse since they really do care for and love each other. Looking forward to the next chapter.

OK, Lady you and I are going to have to talk about you jumping time like that. I was like wait did we just jump some time. And we did literally 4 months. (Shame on you for not giving us the heads up.)

That letter made me tear up a little because it was the first time Elena admitted out loud that she needed help and that she didn't blame anyone but herself. The fact that she let Nathan punish her for his sins. I am glad she didn't run back to him and decided to get herself clean and healthy. I do hope she calls Alex though so that she knows she is safe and OK and hasn't fallen off the wagon.

I am so glad that Aiden has made a real friend and that he smiles a lot more. He needs to be able to be a kid, he needs to be able to feel safe, he needs to be able to not have the weight of the world on his shoulders. And Brody, Alexa, Rose, and even his mom has given him that.

I think I blushed a little when Alexa and Brody got together after 2 weeks of him being on the road. I am glad he finally opened up to her about her being the only one that knows about his heart. And I am glad she told him that he needs to tell them. Brody needs to realizes that his family sees him differently rthen he thinks they do because he has always been the strong one. They will love him no matter what and maybe if he told them the truth about his heart they would find him a place in the family business doing something he enjoys. But since I am not sure I know what he enjoys (maybe we can discover that in the next chapter).The fact that he thinks he would be no use to them was heart breaking. Hopefully Alex makes him see what they all see in him and it has nothing to do with his muscles...

Brody is all heart and even when he and Alexa said their somewhat goodbyes he is still looking out for her. I hope that both she and Brody open up because they are both so closed off. She thinks she needs to protect herself and maybe she does but she also needs help. And Brody is keeping something heavy as well. What has him talking pills?

I wonder if Brody will tell his dad why he doesn't want to be apart of the family business. I feel like there is so much about Brody that we don't know but I love the pieces we do get to see.

I loved how you ties the Griffin/Roxie story to Brody's. Blake an Ann huh, that is a nice surprise.

All I can think is why can't her nephew just call Brody's phone he has the number and the "baby" will become clearer.

Funny how Chloe tells Brody, Alex ain't good for him but tells on her stupid self about taking all her money. Alex might be a lot of things but she is a survivor. She will do what she has to in order to survive even if that means shutting herself down to do it. It's why I believe Brody and she connected. They are survivors. So now you have me thinking if Brody's scar has anything to do with him taking the drugs? Some type of transplant when he was younger maybe?

Alexa will to do anything to survive even if that means hook herself out. Good thing that wasn't the case. Exotic dancing may not be glamorous but it's better that hookin.

Another great chapter. Brody got his girl back and he can keep a promise to a little boy. Alexa will hopefully not be crashing too hard from her high.
