Lila James knows that her friendship with seventeen year old Chase Almeida is extremely inappropriate, but she still isn't prepared when his older brother Jack decides to tell her just how inappropriate it actually is-- inadvertently igniting a fire that had been burning quietly inside of them for years.

*****Lila's Thunder has been removed for editing, refining and if all goes according to plan, publishing! I couldn't have finished it without all my readers leaving their words and thoughts--even if I didn't always like them--so THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart. <3

Title: Chapter 10: Chapter 10

I don't like Lila. I really don't. Her relationship or sick attachment that she has with Chase is sickening and unhealthy. She needs to leave both Chase and Jack alone. To be honest I think that Jack is better of without her. He needs to be a man and stop begging that ungrateful B!tch. Yeah I said it. Lila is always so quick to think the worst of Jack. And really, with the way she was getting to close to Chase, what did she expect? She crossed the line and deep down she knows it. So of course people are going to get suspicious. We are talking about a grown ass woman who should know better. Chase is a still a child who is desperate to be man. He may think he is mature, but his actions are far from it. Rather than loving Lila, I think he is obsessed with her. He has this stupid fantasy of being with her because she was the person he could lean on when he needed it. Lila had spoiled him to much with her "special" treatment that she gave him. Chase a needy little boy who is looking for attention.

Title: Chapter 20: Q is for Questions

Maybe I'm being harsh but I don't feel sorry for Ester. She should have been honest with him and grow some backbone. She is being weak and pathetic. I get that she was abused, but she needs to start standing up for herself and stop letting people walk all over her. Aj has every right to be hurt and even angry. If Ester is not willing to open up, be honest and let him help her, he won't be able to. So I don't blame him for leaving. I'm loosing patience with Ester. She starting to irritate me. And maybe its just me, but I feel like the story is dragging a little bit because I don't sense any progress in Ester. But maybe that's just me.

Title: Regret

I don't like how all of a sudden everyone is doing as if Tam is the bad person. Yes, Tam may have overreacted a little bit. And also she shouldn't have acted like that in front of the children. But we also needs to understand that maybe is not ready to forgive Nancy or Jason yet. I mean we get to read what Jason and Nancy are thinking. Tam does not. For her these are still the people who had discriminated her and ruined Jayden's life. So she has no reason's to trust them.

Yes we should be able to forgive and move on, but its easy said then done. We are not made of brick and stones. We are human and we have feelings. Anger, sadness and pain don't just go away with an apology. It takes time. She should be civil towards them and respectfull, especially in front of the children. But to expect her to forgive and act like a loving family with them is a little too much.

Also we need to understand where Tam is coming from. She is
a mother and a mother protects her children. And based on Nancy's history with Jayden and how she treated him, I wouldn't allow that woman near my children either. Especially without my supervision. Just because she is acting nice, all of a sudden and seems to have accept Tam and Jayden's relationship, doesn't mean that Tam should trust her. She is still a racist woman who doesn't like black people. Both her and Jason! That won't just change so easily.

I feel no sorry for Nancy. For me she being fake and seeking for pity. Her past is not an excuse for her behavior or her choice for being and selfish manipulator. And its also not an excuse for her being such a racist.

Author's Response:

No one is telling Tam to forgive and accept Nancy.  The problem is the way she's handling things.  She cannot force Jayden to choose.  She cannot keep him from his mother.

Nancy realizes that she had done a lot of damage and that it's a long road to redemption and she knows she may never get Tam's forgiveness.

This story is called Regret for a reason.  It's about evereyone's Regret not just Jayden.

Thanks for the review.

Title: Regret

I went back to read the chapter where Tam had reprimanded Dana for her behavior again. I read it over several time, and the more I read it, the more I do think that Dana is totally overreacting and being theatrical. Tam had never said to her that she is was bad and going to hell. The only thing that Tam had pointed out was that she was being disobedient. And I totally agree with that. I know that Dana meant well and wants to save her grandmother, but the way she went about it was totally wrong. She was making her mother really uncomfortable with the situation. Tam had some trust issues towards Nancy and wanted to protect her children. And here was Dana making everything more uncomfortable with her behavior. Even when Tam had threaten to get the belt,  Dana still continued with her selfish and spoiled ways to get what she wants. Her believes and faith are admirable, but she was a little rude and disrespectful towards Tam. No matter how good her intentions are, she is still a child and needs to listen to her mother. And that is also what Tam had pointed out how no matter what Jesus was doing, he always respected and listened to his parents.

I get that she does not understand why her mother did not like Nancy and all that. But as a child you should listen to your mother. And that is what Tam wanted to point out to her. Dana really works on my nerve right now. She is making her mother look very bad right now. As if she had really done something terrible to her.

Tam does not need to apologize. If Dana had indeed understood her wrong, thanTam should explain to her what she meant. But when it comes to reprimanded for her behavior, Tam should not apologize for that. Dana is free to believe in god. And its totally fine to share your believe with others. But Dana completely overstepped her boundaries. And that is not okay. Plus, how she tries to force her views of Jesus on everyone, and thinks she knows it all and has the rights to tell people what to do is also not okay either.

Author's Response:

Dana totally misinterpreted what Tam said.  I think she was shocked because Tam had never yelled at either of them before and Dana had never seen her that upset.  It was just her interpretation of what her mother said.

You are right.  A child should listen to the parent and no back talk.  Dana overstepped her bounds which is why she's being careful now around her mother.  She's not angry at Tam, she just doesn't want another blow up.

Tam and Dana will talk, and more will be revealed in the next installment.

Thanks for the review.

Title: Chapter 26: Chapter 21

Peter was never nice to Valerie I know that, but just because of her doesn't mean that he should leave his friend out of HIS wedding. This is his and Ella's day. He should be able to invite who ever he wants to share his wedding day with. His opinion of Valerie is low because of how negative Valeries attitude is. People will always judge you based on how you behave. I get that Valerie went trough a lot and all. But at this point she can't continue to use that as an excuse anymore. The problem is also that she knows that what she doing is not right. But yet she still continues doing it. She just don't care anymore. And if she doesn't, then no one else should either.

Valerie is a grown woman. She should know by now that its not up to other people to make her happy. Its her job to make herself happy. She is not even making an effort. I used to sympathize and feel  sorry for her in the beginning. But now I can't. I really can't anymore. She is depressing and not likable. I won't even say that Valerie needs help because she already have a therapist. But in order to get better, you should also want to get better. And Valerie clearly does not. She comes over as needy, as if she is desperate for approval. She is being pathetic and incredibly stupid.

Also I know that there are people like Valerie in real life who doesn't get passed this issue that they have. But this is a story, and therefore at some point you expect to see a little bit of improvement of the characters. This is already chapter 21/22 but  she still never seems to get better. Not even a little bit of improvement. Its still the same Valerie with her weight issues, her "nobody loves me or understand me" attitude and her low self esteem. Nothing have changed. I really don't want to give up on Valerie because everyone deserves to be happy. But she is making it very difficult to root for her. I'm even doubting if she will ever learn to love herself.

Title: Chapter 10: Chapter 10 Out in the Open

I guess in the end, its always the ones who does not deserve it, are the ones who gets a happy ending. I'm sorry, but this is just disgusting. Raymond gets to have a happy ending with the girl he raped when he was 11 years old? Margie in the end got punished for selling her daughter and grandchild. She gets 25 years in jailed. But what about Raymond? He slept with a 11 year old girl, what does he get? He gets a happy ending? To be with her with a new baby on the way, like nothing had happened? The the most sick about this is that he doesn't even regret it and admits that he would do it all over again. Both Raymond and Ophelia are so nonchalant about this issue. I know that what had happened happened and that there is really nothing you can do to change it. But it still makes my stomach turn when I hear both Raymond and Ohpelia talk about there affair as if it was the most normal thing in the world. They are going to therapy just to make Benny happy, but not because they really want to or see the importance of it. It makes me sick.

Author's Response:

It's not over yet.  Who said that Raymond and Ophelia has a happy ending.  Stay tuned.

Title: Chapter 20: Chapter 20 - I Will But I Won't

I want to feel some sympathy for Natalia or like her at least a little bit, but I can't. This is proof that no matter the age, some people will just never get it right. They will continue to be pathetic, stupid and keep making the same mistake over and over again. The people around Natalia will continue to think that she needs to be led through life because that is the impression that she give people, and she also allows it. This stunt of Jamison of proposing to her after only dating a couple of months and clearly also knowing that she is not ready for something as serious as marriage, should be a warning for her. He may be nice and seems perfect, but its also obvious that he manipulative. Being nice and sweet is what he use and will continue to use to gain Natalia's sympathy and do exactly what he wants. And Natalie being a little dense and slow falls in to it. I'm glad that she was at least honest with him about not wanting to marry him, but in a way she is leading him on. She deserves to be happy with someone, but he is clearly not ready for that. In my opinion she needs to be single for a while instead of jumping in to a relationship.

As for her sister, Natalia needs to confront her and cutting her of off her life after this. Her sister clearly did not get the message the first time. If after months of not being on speaking terms with her after what she had done, didn't change her, then she will never change. I know that Barb is her sister and that she love her. But its also obvious that Barb has no respect for her and will continue to but in to her life. Natalia needs to mature and learn to stand up for herself and get rid of people who constantly insist in running her life.

Author's Response:

Nat is who she is.  I can't say we see eye to eye on what exactly that is, but I appreciate you sharing your insight. As far as Barb is concerned, Nat has every intention of cutting her off.  But she is her sister, so who knows.  Thanks for reading and commenting, Grazylisa.

Title: Roxie and Griffin: Ever After

I'm sorry but this is getting ridiculous. Roxie is such a drama queen and too stubborn and stupid for her own good. Seriously she is pathetic. Her being upset because of what had gotten out in the media is totally understandable. But her not wanting her fiance's support is ridiculous. He knew about her past and he still made the choice to be with her and to marry her. So her acting like this is ridiculous. Why can't she just stay and talk to the man who is going to be her husband. Why are they getting married if they can't have a serious conversation like mature people does. Roxy has absolutely no faith in Griffin, otherwise she wouldn't be acting like this. If she had more faith and trusted Griffin like its supposed too, she would know that she could tell him anything and that her weight and what not really doesn't matter. I try but I seriously can't feel sorry or any sympathy for Roxy. She has a man who even though is a little wuss, is being there for her and wants to support her. But she is too busy with her pity party,

As for Griffin, what a wuss. The guy is too passive. He needs to be a real man and stand up for once. He is too concerned of hurting Roxie's feelings, and does everything that she wants because he is afraid of her getting upset or getting her feelings hurt. He is treating Roxie like a fragile child, which is not helping the situation at all. Its good that he is a nice man who cares about his woman, but he also needs to be more firm instead of being so passive all the time. Sometimes people needs some though loving and hear things without you sugar coating it. Roxie needs this type of loving in my opinion. Griffin babying her all the damn time is not going to do the trick.

These two really shouldn't get married. They don't have a strong relationship. There is no trust or communication between them. And to top it off, the one who is supposed to be the man in the relationship is weak and a pansy.

Author's Response:

These two definitely have a lot to work through. I think everything just really hit them hard so they need to go back to the beginning and remember how they came here. Together. It's going to be tough, but they'll make it back ;)

Title: Chapter 43: Chapter 43

I don't care if some people are going to get angry with my comment, but seriously Jodi is acting like a whore. There is just no other way to put it. The only thing on her mind is sex. Craig is disgusting. He has a girlfriend and a son and yet he throws it all away for a quick fuck with a fucked up woman like Jodi? I don't care about Jodi's past. That is still not an excuse for her to want to sleep with every hot guy who talks to her.

I also noticed that as the story go on, the more I dislike Jodi. I also wonder if this story will ever have a change. Or rather if Jodi will start to finally grow up a little and realize that she needs to keep her legs close for a while and seek help to help her face her past so she can move on. As of now its still the same thing. Jodi and her always being horny and wanting to have sex. Or guys who are all attracted to her. Nothing new, or exciting is happening. Like seriously its chapter 43 and still nothing.

Title: Chapter 18: Chapter 18

This story seemed interesting in the beginning. But I'm slightly disappointed in the turns of events right now. She was a nobody with no friends or man and all of a sudden she has three man who is interested in her? She is messing around with Steve. Don't tell me that she will also give it up to also Mitch and Steve's own brother Matt? I mean she already kissed Matt without even caring that she had almost slept with his brother. I'm so disappointed. I knew she was lonely. Just did not expect her to be this desperate too. I really hope she won't turn in too a slut and sleep with all three man.

Okay am I the only one who is confused here? The previous chapters when she asked "him" to stay and this chapter is it the same day? And who is "him" as in the person she is with now, Cale? or was it this new guy in the pic you posted this chapter with  Clark? Then there is this "him" that she just cried for. Okay I'm totally confused????? What is going on?

Yes, I think you are the only one confused. Maybe go through it again. I could make minor changes so its even more clear. That might help you out.

Title: Chapter 11: Chapter 9

Could you please try to make the chapters longer? The story is great, but the chapters are just too short. You could also try to put more than just one scene in the story. That is the only complaint that I have. The pace of the story is okay. But the length of the chapters are just too short. Its leaves you unsatisfied. Sorry if you feel offended or that I'm trying to push you. That is not my intention.

Title: Chapter 24: Chapter 21

I hope that before Debbie and the Klan finds out where Camille, Savannah and Hiram are, that we will get some scene between Hiram and Camille first. Some progress between their relationship because I'm starting to loose hope that anything will happen between them. I get that they can't jump in to a relationship and that things have to move slow. But in my opinion its moving too slow. We are at chapter 21 and they still didn't have a serious conversation about what is bothering Camille, her family and why she thinks she is ugly or not attractive. They need to start with something or somewhere. Right now I feel as when it come between Hiram and Camille the story is only dragging. Everything else is fine though. I also hope we will get some insight as the why Debbie is so obsessed and determent to get Hiram. She can have every other guy, but she still stuck on him. He obviously made up his mind and he made it clear that he is not coming back to the clan and that he doesn't want her. And by getting rid of Savannah and Camille will only make things worst for her. Because that will only make Hiram hate her more. Like seriously how desperate can a woman be for a man. Debbie is a psycho.

Author's Response:

Hello grayliza. Yes even though we're at chapter 21 at the same time we're just now hitting December '91 and the story

spans for a year since the co parenting is up by July '92. So really I haven't even hit the six month mark yet. The scene

at the end of chapter 20 is supposed to forshadow what's to come really soon. And by soon I mean before the story hits

New Year's '92.

Title: Chapter 10: Chapter 9

Dean needs to leave Elle alone and maybe even focus on someone else. Because honestly, she is not worth it. Elle doesn't know what she wants. And besides that she also doesn't know how to communicate. Her answers to everything that she doesn't know how to handle is to avoid, ignore and walk away. She keeps dismissing him, treating him poorly and has absolutely no regard for his feelings. Dean needs to date and get to know other woman. Elle needs some serious competition. She needs to realize that Dean can get other woman, and that she is not all that. Maybe that will open her eyes and she will realize what she is missing. And if she decide that she does want something with Dean, then she will have to work for it. That is if its not to late. If Dean were a friend of my, my advice to him would be to leave Elle alone and move on. She has some issues that she needs to work on and figure out what it is what she really wants in a romantic life. She is confuse and doesn't know what she wants. Well that is her problem then. Dean doesn't have to suffer because of this. He has done nothing wrong. Dean deserves better. Someone more mature. I know that know one is perfect and that sometime people doesn't know what they want and all. But the ones who has, doesn't have to suffer and put op with it. I do want Elle and Dean to be together, but she will have to earn it and work for it a little bit.

Author's Response:

I agree. I think some distance between the two might be necessary. But then what good would that do? Will it make them yearn or appreciate each other more? Or just wedge them further apart?

Elle’s never been a good communicator. Her reasoning, ignorance and dismissing of issues in her romantic life will be highlighted in future chapters. Although I think Elle knows that Dean is a catch, she can sometimes be an over analyzer. She states how she feels her serendipity is too easy and questions every good thing about her happiness. It’s what’s kept her romantic life in shambles.

Dean, for some odd reason, continues to pursue Elle. Regardless of her mistreatment of him, he continues to pursue her because of his own past relationship issues (which will be discussed in the future). It’s not that he likes the chase, but that he simply likes Elle.

Maybe with more explanation of their pasts, everyone will see why they actually complement each other.  Whether they can work through their issues, is up to them. Thanks for reading and your in-depth review grazylisa.

Title: Chapter 13: Chapter 12

Well well, what a friend Tracie is. Like seriously I would never let  my DRUNK friend go home alone like that for a one night stand. What the hell is that. How desperate was she for sex. They could have gone home with Elle, make sure she got there save and after that continue to go to a hotel or where ever they were planning to go to do the nasty. But to just let her go alone like that was not cool at all. Not really liking Tracie at the moment.

Author's Response:

You make a good point. Best believe her lack of judgment will definitely be discussed next chapter. Thanks for reading and reviewing grazylisa.

Title: Chapter 16: Chapter 15

I'm so done with Elle. She makes things more difficult than it has to be. First of all she needs to have a real talk with my mother. No wonder her brother doesn't want to be around her. Her mother will continue to butt in to her life because she lets her. She needs to tell her in a respectful way to back of her personal life and make it clear to not pull another stunt like she did with Justin again. I know that I would be PISSED if my mom went behind my back like that. And I would let her know it.

Second of all, Elle should have told Justin to shove it. Who cares if he is up for a promotion and that he wants to show his boss an other part of him to impress him. That is not her problem. She should have left him then and there.

And as for Dean, its good that he is ignoring her text messages. Its only been three week since they have talked and seen each other, so its understandable that he is still feeling some type of way. But as the months go by, he will and can move on. Elle is playing a game. Let her play it alone. She wants to friends, she wants to do this, she wants to do that. Its always only about what she wants. She is right. Dean indeed deserves someone better than her. Preferably someone more mature and who knows what she wants, or who at least is willing to try and risk things. I still think that Elle should take the first step and work for it. Dean going to her would make it too easy giving the way she had been treating him.

Also I hope that when Dean decide to stop things with Kate, she won't turn out to be some cliche obsessed psycho girl who doesn't know how or when to give up. Although little jealousy is ok and understandable, because there has to be some drama after all.

Author's Response:

Yeah, Max (her brother) is definitely a good example of their mother’s reign. With the holidays coming up, hopefully Elle will have that talk with her mother. Setting her up with Justin and not knowing the full story was a definite low blow. Actually, Dean and Elle haven’t seen each other in a month and three weeks. I agree eventually, with time, you can get over someone. Whether they do that or get back together is totally up to the two of them. As usual, thanks for reading and reviewing grazylisa.

Title: Chapter 19: Chapter 18

When it comes to her love life Elle is slow and a little stupid. I honestly don't get what Dean sees in Elle. She did apologize to him, but her treatment afterwards wasn't any better. She keeps ignoring him and his phone calls and as a stupid boy, he still continues after her. I just don't get why he likes her so much. She treated him poorly and continues to do it. Other then her looks, she had done absolutely nothing for him to like her this much. I still say she is not worth it. There is at least some progress right now, but how long will that last before she start with her poor behaviors again. I'm also very disappointed that Dean had to be the one to take the first step for something to happen. But I guess we will have to see as the story progress how all of this will turn out.

Author's Response:

I always pointed out that Elle’s not gifted in the romance department. But let us not forget Dean’s lack of communication when they were supposed to be friends. Neither one of them is good at this. I think Elle’s actions are just more prevalent because we get her POV the most. In no way am I trying to invalidate your opinion, I just wanted to point that out. Thanks again for reading and reviewing grazylisa.

Title: Chapter 23: Chapter 22

Even though she was a little drunk, I'm glad that things are going the right direction. I honestly think that Elle should consider starting to look for an other job with better opportunities and a boss who truly cares about his employees and their well being. This one seems to only think about money and clearly doesn't care at all about Elle at all. Its obvious that Randalls intention is not about business. Her boss most have noticed too. And the way he just did not gave Elle a choice in the matter speaks volumes. She will have to have a serious conversation with Randall, because its obvious that being indifferent and professional is not doing the trick. She needs to flat out tell him that she is not interested and to respect her.

I get that her job is on the line and that she is one of the only black people there. But that doesn't mean that she has to put up with being harassed. She should really take her situation with Randall seriously. Randall is a disgusting spoiled brat and used to getting what he wants. Its clear that he wants Elle and that he will do what ever he can to have her. Elle will have to stand up for herself.  Tell him off, and maybe even record it without him knowing, make copies and use it against him and threaten to file for sexual harassment. She is going to have to start protecting herself, because its clear that her boss won't stand behind her.

Its sad how sometimes woman needs to put up with perverts like Randall. There is just no respect whatsoever. And the fact that these type of situations are not being taken seriously and that most the of the times, the woman/victims are being blamed or not believed is sad.

Author's Response:

Her boss is definitely looking shady boots right now. Especially since Randall is so forthright with his flirtations, so it’s clear to see why he only wants to see her “alone.” I agrre that being one of few at a job does not mean you have to take bullshit when you see/hear it. And yes, it’s sad that these are real life occurrences in the workplace. It’s disgusting and can definitely be prevented. Let’s see how Elle handles this though. Thanks for your insightful review grazylisa.

Title: Ezekiel Black

I had my doubts since he beginning in Zeke's ability to at least shine some lights in to his grandfathers mind and life. I'm also very disappointed in him. Instead of him changing Willoughby, little by little he is changing Zeke. Zeke shouldn't have gone to live with him in the first place. He is very naive and stupid if he thinks that he a eighteenth/nineteenth year old boy can change a grown old man who had been mean, selfish and manipulative all his life. He had heard himself all the things that his grandfather had done to his own son and his mother. But yet he still wants to go and live with him. The only people I feel sorry for is La donna and Rosa. They are the ones who will get hurt in all of this.

As for Zeke, he has put himself in this situation. So I could care less what happens to him. He knows how his  grandfather is. After Willoughby's first attempt to get him to sleep with another woman while knowing good and well that he is engaged, he should have packed his bags and threaten him that he will leave if he pulls another stunt like that again. I honestly don't know what to think of Zeke at this point. To be honest I hope that La donna will leave him and that Rosa will treat him distantly,, maybe that will open his eyes and realize what he is loosing. People who really cares and love him. Not people who wants to manipulate him and his life like his poor excuse of a grandfather. I can totally understand that he wants to get to know his grandfather and all. But he didn't have to go and live with him to accomplish that. Zeke is young, and I'm afraid that he will have to learn the hard way that you cannot change the devil. Stupid boy.

Author's Response:

Yes Zeke has stumbled, who hasn't?  Don't give up on our boy just yet.  Willoughby likes to strike people's weaknesses.  That's what he does.  He knows Zeke has been celebate, that he is a virgin.  He also knows that he is a virile young man so that's why he's doing what he's doing in order to break our boy down.  Zeke may waver a bit, but he won't fall for the okeydoke.  STay tuned!

Title: Wasurenaide

I like the story, but at the same time, I don't know what to think of it as right now. So after 10 years her ex boyfriend decides to stalk  her? After 10 years??? They were 17 years old 10 years ago. So they are 27/28 years now, and now Derris decides to stalk her? So he is that obsessed with her?

Also is  she really an assistant District Attorney? I mean its okay to be scared, but surely with her experience, she should now what procedures needs to be done and that she should save every evidence and contact police to report her stalker. Derris did not do anything drastic yet, but those messages were alarming, so she should start now before its too late.

Also like really, why is she with this Joley guy? I have absolutely no sympathy for woman who chooses to stay with a guy who treats them like crap. Like seriously why would you stay with a guy who doesn't trust you at all and is constantly accusing you of cheating. Now that she needs a man by her side to support her and protect her because she may have a sick stalker stalking her, she can't tell him yet because he will think that she cheated? Like what the hell is that. So she knows that even if she explains the situation to him, he still won't believe her. This is the guy she loves? She needs to start loving herself more.

Elle seems to like man who has no respects for her and treat her poorly. First Derris and now she is even engage to one who doesn't trust her and always think she is cheating. What does this say about her?

As for Takahiro, I see that even as a grown man, he is still just as coward as he was ten years ago. Even though I can understand him being a coward and do what his parents wanted back then because he was very young. But now as a grown man, with his own life and a successful career, there really is no excuse for him to still continue doing what his parents want.

I do like the story though. I'm very curios at what is going to happen from now on with them. I hope that as the story goes on and progresses that both Takahiro and Elle will learn to stand up for themselves and what they want.

Author's Response:

Hi Grazylisa :) Thank you for your review, I appreciate it so much!! Woo girl you came for Elle and Taka lol. haha that's good though, you spoke truths. Elle and Takahiro definitely have their faults and they are growing :) Elle definitely is a layered character as is Taka. :) Elle has to love herself first! I hope that you will read the updates and I'm curious to know what your opinions are after then ^_^ <3 Come back and read again deary!!

Title: Chapter 4: Chapter 4

No offence, but its really the same cliche story as always. The black man is always the evil one. And then there is the crazy woman who wants to have the main character, in this case Andrew at any cost. She is spoiled and daddy's little girl. and later on will turn in to a psycho who won't take no for an answer and will try to make the main girl, in this case Felicia's life in to a living hell.

As for Andrew, he is either naive or plain stupid. The people around them are racists and try to manipulate them in doing what they want and he lets them. His publicist Robert is not a good friend if he is always overstepping his boundaries and trying to convince Andrew in doing things he clearly doesn't want to. Andrew clearly also doesn't have any morals. Like how desperate is he to merge his hotel chains with Shanna's father? The man is obviously a racist and its also obvious that he would want for Andrew to marry his daughter first. Business is business, but its clear that these people has other agenda's and are to concern about his personal life. Any sane man would not want to associate himself with these type of people. Felicia is better of without Andrew. He is weak and knows nothing about self respect and morals. After this event, she should stay clear of him and these people he interact with.

Author's Response:

I love how you jump to conclusions if how the story is going to turn out, I applaud the fact that you said "no offense" but offended me anyway. I respect anyone's opinion on my stories, but you were slightly rude. I want to say the story isn't cliché at all, but I can't just say how the story turns out. The story just started out, not even ten chapters in, and you just "know" how it's going to end. Thanks for your review anyway, but let's not be rude.

Title: Chapter 4: Chapter 4

I didn't know that saying "but its really the same cliche story as always." is classified as being rude. It was just a critique/review. When I said no offence I meant it because I was not trying to offend you as a writer or to disrespect your story. I totally understand that some people are very touchy when it comes to their art and work. But when you also give a honest opinion about it, they get really defensive and say that you are offending them or being rude. Being rude is saying, "I think your story is shit. or you are a horrible writer" which is definitely not the case, because the story is fine and I don't think that you are a bad writer at all. I always respect people who put affords in to their work. I just wanted to pointed out that In my opinion the that the story is turning a little in to a cliche story and give my honest review about it. If that is not the case then my bad and I apologize. But its not like I was going on about it to offend anyone or to hurt anyone's feelings. You clearly had interpret it in a negative way which was not the intention.

Author's Response:

First of all, you don't have to call my story shit to be classified as rude. The way you critique and give your honest opinion without calling it "cliche". Second, I didn't get defensive, I chose to tell you how I felt in a polite way, rather than telling you to "go fuck yourself" or "if it's cliché then don't read it". I didn't interpret anything in a negative way, you didn't really say anything positive. Even if your review was to help and encourage me to make the story in a different direction, you didn't do any of that. You just rambled off what you thought would happen, which is rude no matter what you say. I accept your half apology though, thanks girl! 👏👏👏

Title: Chapter 3: -three-

This probably won't be the case, but I really hope that after their make up sex or what ever they want to call it, that both Justin and Aria will move on, but separately. Especially Justin. While he too was thinking on leaving and not getting married, he still made up his mind and came. Aria on the other hand, just up and left and left him at the altar. That is humiliating and embarrassing. The worst part was that she didn't even left a letter to or anything with an explanations, not even days or weeks after. Absolutely nothing. Its been 15 years and she never said or let heard of her. That is a very long time. I'm glad that they forgive each other. Its in the past and there is nothing they can do to change it. Both deserve to be happy. Justin should try to give other woman a fair chance without letting the past get in his way now. He got his closure. And while Aria regret her decision, she did made her choice, and that was to not be with him. A person who had left you like that and didn't bother to let you hear from them ever again for 15 years doesn't deserve for you to get your life on hold or to continue loving them unconditionally to be honest. That is a very long time. Just like Justin told her, that she should start trying to be happy for her, he too should be happy for him.

As for Aria. She had suffer enough, she needs to start making better decisions concerning her life and her relationship with Tom. Does she want to be happy or continue being miserable in a relationship with a man who doesn't love her and that she too doesn't love back.

Title: Chapter 1: Sick

"He's dying." Olivia reminds him.

"I don't know. Part of me wants to give him whatever he wants because he won't be here much longer. He's family and this is something I could actually give him. So I should, right?"

All my respects for Olivia flew out of the window by reading those lines. How ridiculous is that.

Olivia doesn't know how to feel????????? Seriously??? How about disgust, and humiliated. A true friend no mater the circumstances would never ask something like that of you. Yes they should be there for Nick. Yes they should support him, help him and do what ever. But him wanting to sleep with is own brothers wife is going way too far. Just because someone has cancer and is dying doesn't mean that you have to give them everything. There are boundaries and it seems that both Olivia and Nicolas doesn't know that.

So just because Nicolas is dying, she has to sleep with him? Olivia doesn't love Emery. No way would a woman who truly loves her husband consider something like this.

This was the cherry on the cake: "Part of her appreciates that while the other wishes he would just tell her what to do so the guilt or blame would be on him. "

Olivia is a joke. Emery should find a woman who truly loves him and will be loyal to him and their marriage.
